- Make sure the people of the inner city suburbs and Hauraki Gulf islands have a strong voice at the top table
- Protect our environment and enhance our quality of life
- Invest in the public transport Auckland needs
- Keep Supercity costs and rates under control
- Protect our unique heritage and encourage quality urban development
- Support Auckland’s thriving arts and entertainment scene

Mike Lee has a track record of public service and delivering on his commitments:
- Fighting for public ownership. Mike saved the Ports from privatisation in the 1990s
- Supporting local communities. Mike believes in the power of local democracy and will fight to empower local boards
- As ARC Chairman, Mike managed public finances responsibly and capped rate increases
- Mike has achieved a major expansion of our Regional Parks and has led efforts to open up our waterfront to the people of Auckland
- A champion of public transport, Mike won government funding for Auckland’s rail electrification and the reopening of the Onehunga rail line
